Seek Week 2026
January 4-11 • Cross Community Church • Beaufort, SC
21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
We kicked off 2026 with 21 days of prayer and fasting, crying out to God for Him to do what only He can do in our lives, our families, our churches, and our nation. Following our theme of “Holy” from Isaiah 6:1-8 for Seek Week 2026, we prepared a daily devotional on the attributes of God based on A.W. Tozer’s classic book, The Knowledge of the Holy, that you can use throughout the year to elevate your view of God.
Day 1: Why We Must Think Rightly About God
About Seek Week
Every January, we (Cross Community Church in Beaufort, SC) start the year by radically restructuring all our efforts around the continual awareness of the presence of God, seeking the Lord in prayer, fasting, worship, and the reading of His Word. For 2026, our theme was “Holy” from Isaiah 6:1-8.

Seek Week Giving Challenge Reached!
Our church family donated $13,600 to help sponsor a 1-year discipleship program for Iranian youth!

A few months ago, we had an opportunity to hear from two Iranian brothers in Christ about the incredible move of God happening among the Iranian people, both within Iran and around the world. In fact, more Iranians have come to Christ in the last 20 years than the prior 1,400 years combined.
One of the brothers, Dariush Golbaghi, serves with Safehouse Ministries in the Netherlands, and they provide discipleship, mentoring, and leadership training to Iranian youth, refugees, and the persecuted church. Their focus is especially on young people and women who carry deep wounds from war, social pressure, family conflict, and religious oppression, and who need safe, long-term guidance to grow as healthy disciples of Jesus and help lead the rapidly-growing Iranian Church.
This year for Seek Week, we wanted to incorporate an outward, missional focus, so with Dariush we have a really cool opportunity to help “adopt” their 2026 discipleship cohort, a full year, in-depth discipleship program of Bible teaching, mentoring and discipleship, plus a 1 week in-person formation conference.
It costs $2,000 for one person to go through the one year program, so our goal during Seek Week is to raise $10,000 to sponsor 5 students. Watch the video message below from Dariush to our church, and if you’d like to contribute, click here (or give via cash or check on Sunday – just be sure to note “Seek Week – Safehouse Ministries” on the giving envelope.)
Scripture Reading
God’s Word is sufficient! For the third year in a row, we read through the entire Bible, out loud, from Genesis to Revelation. Visit our Facebook page or our YouTube channel to watch the livestream.
Seek Week Resources

SEEK Prayer Guide:
This 70-page booklet is designed to guide us before and during Seek Week 2026, while also being a valuable resource throughout the year in your individual prayer life. It includes a 21-day devotional about the attributes of God written by various CCC staff members, as well as helpful resources on prayer, fasting, and revival.
SEEK Personal Prayer Journal:
Writing down your prayers, answers to prayer, and promises from God’s Word is an incredibly powerful practice, so we created these cool Seek prayer journals to help us grow together throughout the year.
The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer:
Many of the themes for Seek Week 2026, as well as the 21-day devotional in the Prayer Guide, are drawn from The Knowledge of the Holy, so we’re encouraging everyone to get a copy! We have a limited quantity available at the church for $10 each, or you can purchase a copy on Amazon.
